Beck is on the nominating committee for the New Pantheon Music Prize, along with all these other people. What is the NPMP (damn, that doesn't make a cool acronym)?
The New Pantheon Music Prize was founded by Tom Sarig (co-founder of the previously existing Shortlist Music Prize). The New Pantheon is a prestigious award which is honoring the most creative and artistic albums of the year and Beck has nominated several albums for this year’s award. There are now ten finalists, and the winner is being awarded on February 6th at the inaugural concert in Los Angeles.

Beck is nominated for Best International Male Solo Artist in the Brit Awards. The other nominees are Bruce Springsteen, Jack Johnson, John Legend, and Kanye West. Beck has won this award in 1997, 1999, and 2000.

Wyldfile made another colorful, flash based "what the hell is going on" video for a Guero 8-bit remix. Bit Variations in B-Flat (Girl) is set in deeeeep spaaaace...yes, the words have to be dragged out like that. I don't know why. [thanks skabio]
