Beck got nominated for three
California Music Awards:
- Outstanding Album
- Outstanding Songwriter
- Outstanding Male Vocalist
Basically, he is very outstanding. THAT IS TRUE! Make sure to
vote starting on April 1st!
The
Flaming Lips's upcoming
Fight Test EP will have their cover of "The Golden Age" on it, along with covers of "Knives Out" and "Can't Get You Out of My Head."

Still available in both "clean" and "explicit" versions, Beck Hansen's breakthrough patented the template for the irony-laden '90s with its fusion of country, folk and hip-hop and wry, knowing lyrics. It's no fun without "Fuckin' With My Head," though.

If Beck still felt like a one-hit wonder after Mellow Gold, then Odelay settled all bets. Riding the line between smart-ass and just plain smart, the cut-and-paste wunderkind sings a soulful verse and slings a fair rhyme. Suddenly, rock & roll is fun again.

Everday Apocalypse by
David Dark. It features stuff like words, paper, and ink, but unlike most other words, paper, and ink-filled books, this one has a chapter about
Beck!! And stuff!
