From beck.com:
What's up folks, here's the latest "dish":
Beck will once again enter the studio with producer Nigel Godrich (Mutations, Radiohead) for work on a new Beck record. Beck will be joined in the studio by Jon Brion, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Smokey Hormel, along with a plethora of drummers and other surprises. The vibe will be the same work ethic as Mutations, with Beck and crew hammering out a song a day.
Beck, Eddie Vedder and Mike Ness all did solo performances as part of a series of benefit shows for the Recording Artists Coalition on February 26th at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.
The show opened with Beck, Vedder and Ness doing Lee Hazlewood's "If It's Monday Morning". Beck then joined Vedder during his solo set for The Everly Brothers' "Sleepless Nights", with Vedder coming out during Beck's set for Skip Spence's "Little Hands" and a new Beck song, "Evil Things". Later, Thom Yorke of Radiohead joined Beck for a rendition of The Velvet Underground's "I'm Set Free", while Vedder and Mike Ness came out for a big finale of The Rolling Stone's "Sweet Virginia".
